Family Chores development preview

SMS Terms & Conditions

Family Chores is a browser-based task app preview and proposed SMS reminder program from Aalto Consulting LLC. The preview saves chores and demo choices on your device; it does not enroll a phone number or send SMS.

Program and enrollment

The planned program sends recurring text messages about daily chores and weekly tasks assigned by a family group. In the preview, each recipient enters a mobile number and separately checks an unchecked box to demonstrate consent; the number is not stored or sent. Live enrollment would require signing in and recording that individual choice. SMS is voluntary and is not required to use the app. For recipients ages 13–17, a parent must approve participation before the teen can choose to opt in. A parent cannot opt in on a recipient’s behalf.

Frequency and charges

Message frequency varies with assigned tasks and may include daily and weekly reminders. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan for charges. Delivery is not guaranteed.

Opt out and help

Reply STOP to any Family Chores text to unsubscribe. After confirmation, no further task reminders will be sent unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for help. You can also contact sbarnard@aaltoconsulting.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy and external links

See the Family Chores Privacy Policy for information about mobile numbers and consent. Task messages may include links entered by a family member. Review the destination before opening a link.
